Today, Candidate for Florida House District 21, Amol Jethwani, was honored to receive the Moms Demand Action “Gun Sense Candidate” distinction. Jethwani has been a strong advocate to keep guns off campus.
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a non partisan, grassroots movement of Americans fighting for new and stronger solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes.
About receiving the distinction, Amol expressed: “This designation is recognition of my commitment for common sense gun reform and to the right to safety of Americans. I am proud to receive the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction, this organization has been on the front lines of fighting for Common Sense Gun Reform. I am a supporter of the Second Amendment, but I also believe we need to implement common-sense solutions that will decrease the escalating gun violence. I am fired up and ready to go to advocate for a safer Florida for all Floridians.”
Jethwani who has already taken the NO NRA Money Pledge, joined the millions around the world in the student led March for Our Lives.
